KATHERINE MAXIMIUK

Kathy Maximiuk is a founding partner of Maxcis, Incorporated.

Kathy began her insurance career in 1972 with initial employment at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, in the capacity of Claims Representative.

After working at Liberty Mutual for five years, Kathy began employment at the American Reserve Insurance Company in the capacity of Claims Adjustor. When American Reserve withdrew from the Michigan marketplace, Kathy moved to Michigan Mutual Insurance Company (Amerisure Companies) where she was promoted to Claims Examiner. This position required the management of three claim representatives plus a claims case load of high exposure lost-time and litigated cases.

After three years with Michigan Mutual, Kathy moved to Yeager & Company where she began management duties in the third party administrator and self-insurance industry. Kathy was employed at Yeager, later known as Consolidated Risk management, for eleven years in the capacity of Claims Supervisor, Claims Manager and Assistant Vice-President of Claims Operations.

In 1992 Kathy joined the administrative staff of the Michigan Auto Dealers Self-Insured Fund. Working on behalf of the Auto Dealers, Kathy was responsible for claims management and resolution, marketing, and other insurance related functions.
